Norman Wisdom - Follow a Star (q)

Plot Summary

Norman Truscott (Norman Wisdom) is a dry cleaner who dreams of being a singer. He can sing, but only has the confidence to do so if Judy, a wheelchair-bound friend, is present. He takes singing lessons, and one day goes to see the professional singer, Vernon Carew, perform. Carew’s career is flagging and when he hears Norman’s voice, he concocts a plan to record his voice and use it as his own. But Norman is surrounded by friends who are less than happy with this fraudulent affair and they are determined to expose Carew’s deeds.
