Wake up, iTunes
The movie reviews listed here are for "Norman", a 2011 movie directed by Jonathan Segal about a high school kid.
This movie, sometimes titled "Red Rose of Normandy", is about a German romance in the middle of the invasion of Normandy. There doesn't appear to be any listing of any reviews on "Rotten Tomatoes". On IMDb, the movie's synopsis is written by the director/lead actor Struckmann. Enough said. Be forewarned.
Bore-mondy
I watch WWII movies. And I have watched most all of them. Normandy was a huge disappointment. The acting was really bad. Felt like I was watching a high school play. I enjoyed watching from the perspective of the Germans. A fabulous idea which could have been carried much further. The fighting scenes were like little gang fights. And the actual Normandy invasion consisted of only two landing craft with two identical silhouettes of battleships in the background! The rest of the sea was devoid of ships! The military vehicles appeared accurate but the explosions from artillery and tanks were totally fake. There were a couple of descent scenes. But this was just a low-budget film that simply did not meet expectations. I couldn't wait for this movie to end...
Normandy
Where do I even begin....... The acting was horrid, I mean cheap porno without the sex part. Both the German and american soldiers were overweight, and
Retirement age! And the principle female love intrest had so much stuff injected into her lips, she looked like a blowfish, I swear her lips got bigger as the movie went along. I can't recall seeing a bigger stinker in my 49 years.
And yes I did see The movie Ishtar.
