Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Makes no pretense of being based on anything except the Ian Fleming character and the high good humor and wit of the film makers. – Vincent Canby, New York Times, Oct 13, 2008

Rotten: Bond had degenerated into a male model, and something of a genial anachronism. – Richard Corliss, TIME Magazine, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Film's high points are the spectaccular aerial stuntwork marking both the pre-credits teaser and extremely dangerous-looking climax. – Variety Staff, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: There's a fine line between wit and absurdity, and this particular movie too often falls on the wrong side. – James Berardinelli, ReelViews, Oct 13, 2008

Awesome!

It's honestly one of the most fun 007 movies! It had so much action. It had luxurious set pieces in India. This was also one of Roger Moore's best performances as 007. So enjoy, Octopussy.
