Old Gringo
This is a wonderful movie that pottays the serious challenges of life during the Mexican Revution & that era. Although the main story involves the developing romantic attraction between the school marm charcter of Jane Fonda and the fiery young general played by Jimmie Smitz there is the added fascination of the old adventurer who's aatraction for the young lady brings him to the realization that his life is on the cusp of being over. There is action, beautiful scenery, romance, wisdom and passion for a cause all nicely portrayed in an historical theme. Well worth the time to view.
Its all about Jane
I dont care what movie it is or what its about, i just really love jane fonda, and that way she acts just makes the movie good.
One Of Gregory Peck's Last Films
Gregory Peck in this film, shows that , there is no ring rust on him. I was hanging on every word of his senes. He always pick roles that has meaning and importants. Brando was great, and so was Olivier, But, lets not forget PECK.
