Plot Summary
The antichrist is back, this time in the form of a little girl. Faye Grant stars as the wife of an up-and-coming congressman who grows more and more suspicious about the less-than-angelic nature of their newly adopted daughter. The priest who baptized her mysteriously dies, the psychic fair she attends burns in a fiery holocaust and her nanny "accidentally" falls from a second story window. Soon, Delia's mother begins to questions the "coincidence" of these catastrophes. Her thoughts can't help but turn toward the biblical prophesy of Armageddon... the final confrontation between the forces of good and evil, beginning with the birth of Satan in human form.

The Omen IV
First off, I thoroughly enjoyed Omen I-III; actually just watched III on iTunes last weekend. Anyway, I was skeptical of this one because of its premise of a female antichrist succeeding Damien, so to speak, and also because I'd read somewhere that it was originally a made for tv movie. It just sounded like something that was probably made to make some quick cash off The Omen name. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by the story. It really had some nice surprises. Unfortunately, it's held back by some of the writing and acting. Honestly, the actors weren't that bad, but they just sometimes didn't have a lot to work with in the line department. So, I recommend Omen fans renting it just for the sake of checking out the story, but most people probably won't feel an overwhelming desire to add this to their permanent movie collection.
