Plot Summary

Narrated by Daniel Craig (Skyfall), One Life features incredible, intimate footage of amazing creatures that are in turn heroic, strange, loveable, beautiful and surprisingly funny. Filmed over 3000 days across every continent and in every habitat, One Life reveals the bonds that connect all living creatures on our planet through a series of imaginative and vividly captured stories from the natural world. One Life takes us from birth through to the creation of the next generation – then takes us one step further – revealing that, whether we have wings or flippers, eight legs or two, the triumph of life connects us all.

Fresh: Another gorgeously shot document of nature's majesty, this one focusing on the life cycle-and interconnectedness-of all living creatures. – Nick Schager, Village Voice, Feb 19, 2013

Fresh: Nature films don't come any more spectacular than the BBC's "One Life." – Kyle Smith, New York Post, Feb 22, 2013

Best 90 min of my week!

Spectacular movie!!! Amazing and inspirational! Great for entire family (no baby polar bears die anything)! Can't recommend highly enough!

Repeat footage from Planet Earth, nothing new!

What's so upsetting is that they ripped off the same exact shots they already used in their previous documentary series Planet Earth. If you haven't seen that then of course you'll enjoy this, but when you spend $35 on a Blu-ray thinking you're getting something new only to see the same footage from Planet Earth just recut, you're a little upset. Very disappointing, you might as well call this "Planet Earth Director's Cut". They did this with Disney's "Earth" too, Disney just bought the rights to recut the same footage from Planet Earth. So how many more times are they going to do this?
