Customer Reviews
Words can't express this experience...
This is truly one of the greatest viewing experiences you can have. Brian Terwilliger is a master story teller, it is shot magnificiently, he delivers a story being a private pilot, a history of general aviation and a passion that many want to experience but won't during their lifetime. You will be taken in by the passion, the visual beauty of this movie, I can watch it over and over, each time seeing something new and feeling good about having put the time in to visit with the pilots, the people and the places they call their home airport!
Great film (saw on PBS)
My dad was one of the youngest pilots in Oregon in the 1930s. This film, more than any other, helped me understand the allure of flying that he saw and gave me a newfound appreciation for aviation, aircraft and those crazy people who take to the air, whether for fun or profit. It is a special movie about a special place that represents many special people and places throughout our great country. I consider it a must see to understand how we became the leading aviation nation in the world.
There's more to flying than airlines ...
In the hustle-and-bustle world that is today's commercial air transportation system, the fundamental beauty of its historical roots are often forgotten. One Six Right recalls the elemental passion of flying, and highlights why aviation, airports, and aviators must endure as a component of American society.
