Plot Summary
Based on a harrowing true story... A weekend cruise aboard a luxury yacht goes horribly awry for a group of old high school friends who forget to lower the ladder before they jump into the ocean for a swim. The boat proves impossible to climb, leaving them adrift, miles from shore. What started as a joyful reunion becomes a fight for survival.

ENTERTAINING BUT NOT FOR EVERYONE
Open Water 2: Adrift is not for everyone and I say this because of mixed reviews and more mixed emotion and reactions from a variety of moviegoers. This movie might not best appeal to you unless you can relate to the primitive origins of the characters thought processes and the terror of the groups pending tragedy. If you've ever undergone prolonged isolation periods and or have a fear of water or have had a truly traumatic experience in water then this would entertain you and then some. More for the thinker and analyzer if for a type. Put yourself in their shoes, or shorts and just go with the flow. Undoubtedly more entertaining than reading these reviews...right?
boring, predictable, nothing new.
this movie had absolutely nothing special, sure, its what every high school group wants, to be friends forever, and yet, it was so pointless, so uninteresting, that it was extremely difficult for me to keep watching. i mean, the whole story, what else was expected to happen if you're stuck in the water? i dont know why someone would want this movie. its hard to understand, but i couldnt more thoroughly explain without including spoilers.
Pretty Good
It was a good movie, and the ending wasn't exactly what I had been expecting, like # 1. Can't find the soundtrack though....
