Watch these!
A wonderful collection of short films. Great to see before the Oscar ceremony -- or afterwards. A variety of subjects and styles. Pentecost is alot of fun. The Shore is a light drama and allegory about the troubles in Northern Ireland, with lots of humor mixed in. Tuba Atlantic captures a funny few days in the life of an eccentric dying man in Norway. Time Freak is a clever tale about a man obsessed with traveling back in time, but usually only by a few days to correct recent problems. My favorite was the more serious drama, Raju, about a German couple who discovers some difficult truths as they try to adopt a child from an Indian orphanage. I wish all movie fans would watch these well-written and well-made little gems!
Underwhelming
There are a lot of great shorts out there. These are not the best.

All of these are outstanding and memorable in their own ways. This was one of the hardest Oscar categories to predict because they are all so wonderfully done.
