Plot Summary

More and more little old shops are disappearing from the face of Europe's cities. There's no place for them in today's shopping malls. "Out of Time" lovingly portrays four jewels of their trades who have been keeping them alive - the butcher, the button lady, the druggist, and the leather repairman. It's a tale of the walls encompassing their lives, of their memories and desires, of loneliness and letting go, of love, and of new hope.
