Best Movie - but awkward advertising

This movie is my favorite movie of all time. I have never felt such sadness and elation by one movie. I did not know what to expect when I first watched it in the theaters. All someone told me was that someone had died, and that others had hated it. I feel like it has been advertising the wrong way. It is advertised as a movie about laughs and good times. But really, it is a movie about loss, and the journey that one takes to move on, to grow, to be happy again. That is what the movie and the book are about, and that is what I think people should take from it. It isn't about the letters themselves. The letters have a meaning. They are Holly's hope, and they represent her journey. Each letter helps her to heal in some way. Gerry is helping her through the journey of grief and renewal. That is what I love about this movie: it shows that you CAN move on, despite the circumstance that you are given.

Amazing

I saw this movie in theater twice.. i grew up with only a mother, so i grew up on these kinds of movies.. they have taught me alot about love and life and this movie does it all.. teaches you how people are always watching over you and just want you to be happy... great movie

Tear Jerker

This movie was really good. When I saw it in theaters, I cried my eyes out. It is touching, & teaches you what love and life are all about.
