Plot Summary
After the terror unleashed on Lake Victoria in PIRANHA 3D, the pre-historic school of blood thirsty piranhas are back. This time, no one is safe from the flesh-eating fish as they sink their razor-sharp teeth into the visitors of the summer's best attraction, The Big Wet Water Park. Christopher Lloyd (BACK TO THE FUTURE), reprising his role as the eccentric piranha expert, along with survivor Paul Scheer (TV's THE LEAGUE) are back for more fish frenzy. David Hasselhoff trades in the sandy beaches of TV's BAYWATCH to be a celebrity lifeguard at the racy water park. Prepare for double the terror, double the action, and double the D's in this sequel.

NOT QUITE AS FUN AS THE ORIGINAL
If you've seen the first "Piranha", you probably already know what to expect: over-the-top acting, gratuitous nudity and a ton of fun, mindless gore. Unfortunately, this bland sequel fails to live up to the standards set by its predecessor and instead opts to recycle the same premise with less spirited campiness and self-aware humor. If it weren't for the hilariously random celebrity cameos from Gary Busey, David Hasselhoff and Christopher Lloyd (who reprises his role from the first movie), "Piranha 3DD" would've been an absolute dud. But for what it is, it's simply a subpar horror-comedy with a few cool gory scenes and nothing more. If you wanna rent it for a good time, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to do so. But if you ask me, you'll be a lot better off renting the original.
Wow.....I definitely lowered My IQ
I knew this going in that this movie would be awful. After all the production delays and releasing this in theaters in limited release while also on video on demand the same day you kinda knew the studio knew they screwed up. All Im going to say is just wow. Ive never seen such a bad horror film in my life. At least there were some hot men to look at and even see naked. All this is is a straight to video type movie. Horrible acting, horrible story...horrible everything minus the hot male actors. Id redbox this. I wouldnt waste a dime on this again. The first one was by far way better even though it kind of lagged. Who knew fish could walk and swim in chlorine water......WOW...Just wow
Bottom Line: Wait for TV with this one
Fails to even titillate.....
With a name like 3DD I was expecting it to at least outdo the previous film. The most this movie provided was a few chuckles at the hilarity of how awful it was. It was a unessasary sequel. It lacked the fun of the first one as well as the gore factor was dull (minus one scene). The nudity/ women in this film also felt cheapened. Over all I say avoid this if you enjoyed the first one. It's a disappointment. Releasing it as pay-per-view was a smart move by Dimension Films to get paid for this before it flops in theaters.
