Plot Summary
The time: the 22nd century. The place: the Confederacy, a matriarchy where men are enslaved and impotent. The hero: Dylan Hunt (John Saxon), a handsome, vigorous 20th-century scientist awakened from suspended animation - just the "breeder" a Confederacy dominatrix (Diana Muldaur) has been waiting for! In this sequel to Genesis II, Gene Roddenberry (Star Trek) puts a reverse spin on women's lib in an action-filled tale set in a gleaming world of futuristic cities, underground sub shuttles, palm-sized computers and skintight uniforms. Can Hunt defy the Confederacy and free his downtrodden fellow males, or is he doomed to slavery on Planet Earth?

Letter boxed? Widescreen? Huh?
While I am glad to see Gene Roddenberry's Planet Earth available on iTunes, I would prefer to see it in the original tv aspect ratio of 3:4 in which it was originally filmed and presented on tv. This "wide screen" version chops off the top and bottom of the original image. Come on Warner Bros. and iTunes. Lets see the original!!!
Lets also see Roddenberry's Spector and The Questor Tapes as well!!!
Rodenberry Nostalgia
Ah, memories of the 1970's! I hope that at sometime in the future iTunes will offer the third attempt at this Pax franchise from Gene titled "Strange New World" so that it can complete the unofficial "triliogy" of TV Pilots that while they were'n't picked up as series they still have some fond memories and many good plot points about them. PLEASE ITUNES CONSIDER COMPLETING MY SET!!!!!!!
