Plot Summary
We live in the Age of Plastic. It's cheap, itís practical, and it's everywhere ñ from the highest mountains to the hottest deserts, from the North Pole to the South Pole. It's even part of us, inside our blood. In the filmmaker-on-screen tradition of Michael Moore and Morgan Spurlock, director Werner Boote takes us on a journey around the globe, from the Morocco Sahara to the middle of the Pacific Ocean, from a factory in China to the highest peaks of the Alps to reveal the far-flung reach of plastic. Interviews with the worldís foremost experts in biology, pharmacology and genetics shed light on the perils of plastic to our environment and expose the truth of how plastic affects our bodies. and the health of future generations.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Sniffing and licking as he goes, and pausing to rub his face vigorously with bioplastics, the director favors a peripatetic style that staves off boredom but is frustratingly shallow.
Fresh: Disturbing, cautionary documentary that will make you rethink the products with which you surround yourself.
Fresh: A must-see for anyone even remotely interested in the staggering health costs of plastic to humans and the planet itself.
Rotten: Jumping breathlessly from one short segment to another, jetting from one corner of the world to another, the director aims to make up in breadth what he sacrifices in depth.
