Terrible

This is terrible, DO NOT waste money on this. I've never written a review but I feel I have to warn you about this film. Even if one day it's on t.v. for free change the channel.

Plug & Pray - slow moving, opinions are stated- not justified or debated

The film focuses on a German computer pioneer that taught for many years at MIT, and a pessimist about the technological future of humanity in terms of AI. Opinions from him, Ray Kurzweil, et al are stated but not given the opportunity to be justified in this production. For this reason, it was not an informative viewing, and the pace made it unexciting in addition.

In retrospect, it was about half what I explained above; and the other half was what appeared to be an old man mad at new technology not behaving exactly right and assuming that future technology would have these same problems.

More of a documentary about Joseph Weizenbaum, and less of a discussion of the technological issues at hand. Unless you're interested in him specifically, this is probably not worthwhile to watch.
