Plot Summary
In 2006, filmmaker Danny Schechter was denounced by some reviewers as an “alarmist” for his film In Debt We Trust, which warned of the coming credit crisis. He was labeled a “doom and gloomer,” until the economy melted down, vindicating his warnings. His new film, "Plunder: The Crime Of Our Time" is a hard-hitting investigative film that shows how the financial crisis was built on a foundation of criminal activity.

A MUST see vs. a should
PLUNDER, indeed.
At long last, someone has taken the time to detail the greatest heist of our time.
PLUNDER makes it easy to understand collateralized debt obligations and credit default swaps and how this Great Recession happened.
When more and more people become aware of this crime, then we might have true financial reform. Send this link to your family, friends, etc. so that they can buy it and learn. In fact, send it to your elected officals and then vote them out of office unless they regualte Wall Street and hold investigations.
Thanks, Danny Schechter!
Agenda
The movie had too much of a political agenda for me to take very seriously. The bias was extremely evident. The movie did not even really get into the meat and potatoes of what happened. The movie just shows a bunch of people protesting half the time.
I think the movie "smartest guys in the room" about enron did a much better job of explaining what had happened in that situation. I was hoping that this movie would be similar but I was sorely disappointed.

Great film. Thanks David.
