Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: It gets back into the groove of Hollywood thrillers, after the recent glut of spies, counterspies, funny spies, anti-hero spies and spy-spier spies.
Fresh: An intriguing, disorientating 60s artefact.
Fresh: A movie to saviour again and again on the biggest screen you can get to.
Fresh: Has aged as well as Lee Marvin's brown jacket and tangerine shirt ensemble - that is to say, spectacularly.

Great movie...
Not quite 5 stars, but a good one, anyway. I saw this back in 1967 and still remember it like it was yesterday. Lee Marvin is spooky in this one. Great supporting cast and a LOT of drama. Not at all as graphic and over-the-top violent like many of today's thrillers, Point Blank is more cerebral. A great script helps it to keep the pages turning--or the scenes passing before you--and there are several plot twists that you will not expect. Can't tell you the ending :^p but you will like it.
Excellent Revenge Film
Well written, with original characters and one of the finest endings I've seen in a film. Lee Marvin is fantastic as Walker - 'cold' and 'calculating' do not even begin to describe the extent of Walker's focus and ruthlessness. 'Point Blank' will appeal to fans of classic film noir as well as fans of action films. Especially recommended for those who have enjoyed The Killing, Bullitt and Straw Dogs.
great movie
the bases for mel gibson's payback, similar story but better movie than that one.
