Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Despite marvelously moody visuals and a tantalizing setup, Pornography: A Thriller finally puzzles more than it pleases.
Rotten: Ambitiously layered and almost completely incoherent.
Rotten: Taken independently, these chapters probe the thorny porn star-viewer exchange, but Kittredge can't connect the dots into a worthy climax. In other words: all foreplay, no full release.
Rotten: Pornography is more in love with the notion that a thriller could come to life in a porn setting than with what is actually interesting and relevant about its subject matter.

chilling psychological roller coaster ride!!
I have seen this movie twice!!
A thriller it is indeed! Every time I thought I knew the score, I was was wrong.
There is nothing predictable or cliche' about this film.
It makes you think, makes you feel, makes you scared and excited all at once.
The actors are intoxicating and real. The cinematography is dark and chilling and the soundtrack is killer.
But it's truly the moody, curvy, twisted, mind-bending story that made me wanna view it twice.
I can't wait for the next film from this brave and exiting director!!
hot!
That was extremely cool. Not what one would expect. Defiantly a tad Lynch-ish.
Not worth it
It's been a while since I watched this movie. But I will say that it made no sense what soever. Yes, it is very David Lynch-esque, especially in the fact that timelines and stories do not coinside or cometogether in anyway that present a story that anyone will ever understand. It tries to be supernatural and scary, or something close to it, and fails misereably. By the time the movie is over there are so many loose ends that you don't know what's going on. Basically its a collection of events that may or may not involve some people who are also involved involved in other events and they are loosely tied together with some legendary porn star that may or may not have gone missing. But the thing is, we'll never know. This is one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. Even if you're a fan of David Lynch, if you have any sense of intelect, the flaws in this movie will jump out at you and slap you in the face. I get movies that try to be mysterious and artful... this is one of those attempts that fails.
