Plot Summary
Otto Preminger was one of the most prolific and controversial filmmakers. In a career that spanned nearly fifty years, he conquered both Broadway and Hollywood with award-winning productions ("Laura") that became instant box-office winners and critical favorites. His foray into controversial material - "The Moon Is Blue," "The Cardinal" and "The Man with the Golden Arm" - forced him to leave the studio system where he became one of the pioneers of independent filmmaking. Join Oscar-winner Burgess Meredith ("Rocky," "Grumpy Old Men") as he narrates this fascinating look at the man who changed the way motion pictures are made. Featuring interviews with some of Preminger's favorite stars.
