Plot Summary

A group of revolutionaries want a free Goa and are thus wanted by the Portuguese police. Amongst them are Purandare (Shreeram Lagoo) and Dinanath, and when Dinanath's location is known to the police, he escapes with his young son, Ramdas (Amitabh Bachchan),and goes to their hideout. A horrified Ramdas watches as his dad is shot dead by Purandare. Why did he kill his own counterpart, will the revolutionaries gain freedom from the Portuguese, will Ramdas find out the mystery behind his father's murder?
