Plot Summary
Written by and starring 14-year-old Celeste Davis, this groundbreaking film is a living, breathing snapshot of how it feels to be a teen in today's disconnected world. Purgatory House begins where most stories end, as it chronicles the after-life journey of a lonely teen who abandons her life of turmoil and drug addiction, only to find herself caught somewhere between heaven and hell. There, she must choose whether she will accept her drab existence or finally discover within herself the power to change. Great Movie
I bought Purgatory House a few years ago and I love it. It is one of my all time favorite movies. Celeste did a wonderful job writing and starring in it. All the actors did a great job. And Cindy Baer did a wondful job directing.
Must see!
I wasn't sure what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised! It was truly original, and unlike anything I've seen done before. A beautiful thought provoking piece about spirituality and disconnection. I wish there were more movies out there like this. I loved it. And I will watch it again!
