Fresh: There's an ugly, jittery beauty to "Pusher," a very fine British redo of a 1996 Danish movie of the same title.
Fresh: Much glossier, more bright-lights-big-city, and less jolting than the gritty 1996 original.
Rotten: If Refn made Pusher, then Prieto sets out to make Pushest.
Rotten: The remake undercuts most everything that made the original distinctive, its tangy, pungent sense of low-lifes and their environment swept away for a glam, stylized world.

AWESOME
Have heard great things about the original and this completely exceeded my expectations. Gritty, tense, and cool throughout. I saw the guy who plays Milo at Fantastic Fest this past weekend and he's even crazier in person. Can't wait for them to do 2 and 3!

Solid action film. Watch for the great soundtrack by ORBITAL.
Great Action Packed movie!
For those complaining about the price--this is a pre-release of a movie that will be in theaters soon. So $10 to see it at home on my 60" hi-def tv is a lot cheaper than going to the local theater and paying for the tickets and the jacked up concession prices!!!
