Plot Summary

In 1971, four college students got together to form a rock band. Since then, that certain band called Queen have released 26 albums and sold over 300 million records worldwide. The popularity of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon is stronger than ever 40 years on. But it was no bed of roses. No pleasure cruise. Queen had their share of kicks in the face, but they came through and this is how they did it, set against the backdrop of brilliant music and stunning live performances from every corner of the globe. In this film, for the first time, it is the band that tells their story. Featuring brand new interviews with the band and unseen archive footage (including their recently unearthed, first ever TV performance), it is a compelling story told with intelligence, wit, plenty of humor and painful honesty.

Fantastic and FRESH overview of the greatest rock band in the world

This was an exceptional documentary of an already storied band showing a side that we normally don't get to see of Queen. As a HUGE Queen fan, I've seen basically every video released about the band and unfortunately all of them contain pretty much the same audio and video information... But here the most appealing part is during the entire film we get to see footage, photos, and interviews that we've not yet seen at all! Especially the very emotional filming of the "Days of our lives" Video and Freddie's final footage on film where we see Freddie talking with Roger and the video's director about finding ways to make himself 'appear' to be healthy on film, very emotional.

Anyhow, As a die-hard queen fan, this is a very welcomed fresh approach to documenting the greatest band on the planet!! I loved it and I know others will too. Thank you for this film!

iTunes version is not the same as the Blu-Ray one

I was disappointed to find that the iTunes version has parts cut as well as the f word bleeped. Really Apple? Also, please fix the spelling of the title.

Great video, but can you please spell the title right?

"Day's" of Our Lives? Lose the apostrophe, iTunes.

This is a great video - well-done, nice up-sampling of older videos to HiDef.
