Plot Summary

Have you ever stopped to think if the most ordinary, uninteresting, unobtrusive man you might see on the road or around you might have a love story to tell? Maybe not! How can an ordinary man have a breathtaking, goose flesh igniting, awe inspiring love story of all things to tell? This is what happened to Surinder Sahni (Shahrukh Khan) - a simple, clean hearted, honest man, leading a humdrum life, when he meets his total opposite and finds love in the flamboyant, fun-loving, vivacious - Taani (Anushka Sharma) for whom the whole world is her canvas and she paints her own life with the colours of rainbow all until unforeseen circumstances changes it all and brings them together. What follows is a journey filled with laughter, tears, joy, pain, music, dance and a lot of love. A journey that makes us believe that there is an extraordinary love story in every ordinary jodi (couple).

Very Good Movie

Though I am not a fan of Sharukh Khan I liked this film the most.

Nothing Like A Love Story

Stumbled upon this movie by accident. I was not disappointed. It was very entertaining, funny, and endearing. I wasn't even aware of the two hours it took to watch. The plot is well written that you remain engaged.

Di Jodi

(A Match Made by God), starting Mr. Shahrukh Khan. I was not sure what to expect. Other films that were supposed Bollywood done all in English and had a few songs sung in English with a bit of dancing were neat to see but I knew I wanted something else. Real Bollywood.
I became breathless as Mr. Shahrukh Khan walked onto my computer screen and found a place to stay in my new heart of Bollywood. As the movie went on and on I just found myself talking to the screen. "Why don't you just go home as Raj and show her that you are him and he is you!" Heck that is how it would go down in a US or UK movie and in 1/2 the time. When the movie went to intermission time so did I. I stepped away from my computer and did some other things that needed to be done. But I started to wonder will Suri tell Tanni he IS Raj? Will Tanni find the costumes Suri was using AS Raj be found? Will Suri's best Buddy slip up and tell Tanni?
So back to the computer screen I went. Finally after the computer warmed up (it's an old one), and the movie website finally came back up (slow connection). There I was back into the fatnsy world of Suri/Raj and Tanni Parter! When Tanni spent the day with Suri/Raj.
Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai (That I see God in you),
started to play I had to rewind it and read the CC.
At the moment when Tanni touched Raj's shoulder while
riding the motorcycle you saw Suri at the same time in his face.
That's when you knew he had won her heart.
My eyes weld up, a lump in my throat, and an overwhelming of
peace knowing that if love can be found in Bollywood,
why not in my life.
