Plot Summary
The story is set in the summer of 1984 and follows Heather Ross and her group of friends just after their graduation from college. We meet the gang on their way to one last weekend at a cabin in the woods where, unknown to Heather, her boyfriend plans to propose. They are treated to rumors of a wild bear that is supposedly killing hikers in the woods but do not head the warnings of the local townspeople. Love triangles bloom as the campers attempt to follow their own individual desires and the appearance of a strange Hunter in the woods complicates things further as people start to disappear... and die. Heather is forced to fight for her own survival and find out who is responsible for the deaths of her friends. Is it the jerk Adam? Her own boyfriend? The sultry Summer? The strange Hunter? Or someone (or something) else?

80's Horror Classic
Five kids in a cabin in the woods haven't been this screwed since Evil Dead. If you love the original Evil Dead, and 80's horror slasher flicks, this movie is right up your alley. This is a campy horror film all the way.
The writer/director does lots of those behind the bushes camera angles that totally remind me of every Friday the 13th movie ever. The sound could be a bit better as I had to go back a few times when the actors weren't speaking loudly enough. However the awesome soundtrack was a perfect backdrop for the film.
The best part is obviously the gorgeous actresses, who all looked every bit the part of 80's scream queens. And all the typical strip tease scenes are part of the tradition here too.
This isn't really a film everyone will love, but it will entertain many fans that grew up watching those memorable slasher films. If you liked Cabin in the Woods and You're Next, just go ahead and buy this one.
