Plot Summary
RAGAMUFFIN is based on the life of Rich Mullins, a musical prodigy who rose to Christian music fame and fortune only to walk away from it all to live on a Navajo reservation. An artistic genius raised on an Indiana tree farm by a callous father, Rich wrestled all of his life with the brokenness and crippling insecurity born of his childhood. A lover of Jesus and a rebel in the church, Rich refused to let his struggles with his own darkness tear him away from a God he was determined to love. As he grappled with success in Nashville and depression in Wichita, Rich desired most of all to live a life of honest and reckless faith amidst a culture of religion and conformity.

I grew up listening to his music and his music spoke to me personally. I looked forward to the movie for a long time and it didn't disappoint.
Amazing Movie
I listened to Rich Mullins for many years and was a student at Friend’s University during his time there. I was lucky enough to attend a chapel service where he played and sang with us. Therefore, I looked forward to the release of this movie. It did not disappoint! I was amazed at the cinematography and the creativity in composing the various shots. However, the most important piece of this movie is the message. We are all Ragamuffins and are in need of Jesus and his unending grace. This movie spoke to me on so many different levels. It is a must see!
