Fresh: There are some excruciating flashes of accuracy and truth in this film. – Bosley Crowther, New York Times, Jul 16, 2008

Fresh: Here is a fairly exciting, suspenseful and provocative, if also occasionally far-fetched, melodrama of unhappy youth on another delinquency kick. – Robert J. Landry, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: An indelible vision of a pretty 1950s America with a searing crack in it. – Peter Stack, San Francisco Chronicle, Jun 18, 2002

Fresh: Like its hero, Rebel Without a Cause desperately wants to say something and doesn't know what it is. If it did know, it would lose its fascination. – Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times, Oct 23, 2007

Great Film

This is my favorite movie of all time. it is relevant to teens now as it was then. James Dean shines in the performance he is best known for.

still fascinating even now...

This movie does not cease to surprise me, every time I watch it I find new things that I can identify with as a young adult today. I know everyone says this, but James Dean truly revolutionized acting. His performace literally drips of pure emotion, especially in this movie. It's astounding.

I love this movie!

James Dean is as beautiful as his movies!
