Fresh: It is effective at setting the stage, introducing some of the characters, and capturing the attention of those who love gritty, uncompromising dramas about police corruption and the dark side of human nature.
Fresh: The Red Riding films all come across as great, gritty tales of police corruption and human failing, but it's the first film that has the most impact, mainly because the young reporter Dunford is such a mix of romantic notions.

Quality Trilogy, this is the first one and my favorite. Andrew Garfield's acting is great in this (so is his hotness) and the rest of the cast is talented, too. Gritty and dark film, don't expect to be uplifted. Worth it, though. The story is about the Yorkshire police corruptness in the 1970s and 80s. Super interesting.
Very much a downer of a movie, but a good one...
Rebecca Hall is the most beautiful woman I've seen in films in quite awhile. She can ACT too. Thanks

Andrew Garfield is an amazing actor he is gonna be one to watch in the next few years..the movie in itself was the perfect thriller brilliantly acted and directed definetly a must see!!
