Plot Summary
Terrified commuters are on the ride of their lives when terrorists send a subway train speeding out of control during rush hour. Redline
Redline is a pretty good movie for one made mostly by students. The tension and suspense are felt strongly despite the confines of the contained space. We feel for these people in a very dire situation that could very well happen to anyone. The action doesn't stop with the train crash but continues both inside and outside the wreckage as the survivors try to work together and not tear each other apart. While not the best movie, it certainly gives a lot of contained space suspense flicks a run for their money. Worth the rent.
Great lower budget film!!!
I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. The story line was excellent and at times I wanted to see different scenes but I assume that is costly and this appeared to be a smaller budget film. Overall, I really enjoyed this film and after thought why doesn't "Hollywood" throw more money towards writers and producers like this because with the special effects and extra scenes this would have been a whole lot better than anything they spend millions on these days!
A Good Movie
Redline is a solid action movie. Clearly this is not a big budget studio film, as there were no big stars or big budget effects. Nevertheless, the writing, directing, and acting were solid. There were good plot twists and an unpredictable ending.
This movie puts most of the over-hyped summer 'blockbusters' to shame. It should be better known.
