Plot Summary
Revolver is populated with Guy Ritchie's (Snatch; Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels) classic breed of fast-talking, sharp-suited gangsters but with a psychological twist that your mind may not be able to handle. Jason Statham(The Transporter and Transporter 2) is Jake Green, a grifter who vows revenge against Macha (Ray Liotta, Goodfellas), the ferocious crime boss who sent him to prison. After taking Macha down in a game of chance, Macha puts out a hit on Jake. Now, caught between a gun and a hard place, Jake finds himself protected by two vicious loan sharks (Vincent Pastore and Andre Benjamin) who make him an offer he can't refuse.

Rotten: A film that's main crime is inducing stupefying boredom with little payoff in the end.

Truly Remarkable film in all its Sophisticated glory.
OK...this film is simply a complete mindbottling experience. It is INSANELY COMPLEX. You really need to watch it more than once. When I thought about it after the first, second, and third viewing I got goosebumps. Be prepared to focus for an hour and 44 minutes to try to interpret what is happening plot wise; then another hour and 44 minutes to understand all the complex symbols and the terms of psychology that make this film truly amazing. This is the first guy richie film I have seen and it makes me want to see all his moves NOW! ADVICE: If you plan on uncovering every meaning to the riddle this film throws at you, write down what Greene(Statham) has to say in Chapter 15 on the rules of chess. Then on the second viewing apply all those rules to what is going on the film. It will amaze you how well crafted it is.
Compelling and completly unique
this movie is like having an adult conversation with someone like Kurt Vonnegut. so no, a lot of people are not going to like the whole existentialism of this film. but i love it when solid, proven artists try progressive things and walk in danger zones. This crew didnt just dable, they dove in head first. The whole thing "roughly" is about trying to understand ones inner self, through outward turmoil, and turning inner problems into outward progress. such as facing you fear. and it had an amazing mix of filming styles, standered guy ritchie, and even some old-school japanese film, and japanamai (or however you spell it) ASPIRING FILM MAKERS SHOULD LOVE THIS MOVIE

And I thought Lock & Stock was his best film, (It was great but this is a completely different movie). Revolver ranks up to be one of the most methodical, strategic, and psychological films made within the 21st century. The acting was well done with breath taking performances from Andre 3000, Ray Liotta & of course Jason Statman who stole the movie as far as acting goes. But what made the movie is it's storyline and excellent screenplay. As far as humor goes you wont find anything as amusing as Guy delivered in Snatch or Lock & Stock. The movie gets into depth and psychology of the human mind and our stabiliy as a human being.
