Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: None of this is riveting, but the film's loose naturalism and strong acting - Chris Browning, as a liaison between the F.B.I. and the reservation, is especially enjoyable - are slyly seductive. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Jul 10, 2014

Fresh: An effective throwback to the loose-limbed, my-way-or-the-highway road movies of the "Easy Rider" era. – Gary Goldstein, Los Angeles Times, Jul 10, 2014

Rotten: This film is numbingly dull, an outlaw-on-the-run saga as laconic and slow-moving as its fierce, hirsute protagonist. – Sam Weisberg, Village Voice, Jul 8, 2014

Rotten: Road To Paloma features perhaps the most motorcycle-riding footage of any actor-directed vanity project since The Brown Bunny. – Jesse Hassenger, AV Club, Jul 10, 2014

So much more than just a movie ...

This is a beautiful movie with an awesome soundtrack but it is much more than that. It has a message that everyone should hear. Road to Paloma touched my heart and educated me to the plight of the Native Americans in this country. Before seeing this movie, I had no idea the Native Americans in this country were not protected by the same laws, nor do they have the same rights, as every other citizen in the United States. Hopefully, this movie will spark dialogue and outrage that will bring about a change in the laws of our country.

love it

this movie is absolutely stunning in so many ways .. jason momoa and his crew/friends did an awesome job

Strong Message

This movie was more that I expected. It portrays a strong message to get a better sense of justice and the corruption thats out there in this world. A film that opens your eyes and gives you a different perspective with Native American land. Good job Big J and crew! Sending you positive mana!!
