Fresh: So is Perdition still a must-see? No question. But it's tough to fuss about it much when a picture is this fussy.
Fresh: While crisply edited and unindulgent, Mendes' work is gratifyingly old-school in its rejection of modern-day stylistic agitation, the better to achieve a slow but inexorable build to its climax.
Rotten: Visually, the picture is all of a piece, but it's a self-conscious piece of work -- all dark-toned academic classicism.
Fresh: What makes the movie pay off is moving pictures of real action and of intimate scenes between man and boy that are all the more moving for being understated.

Hey, it's here finally!
This movie easily finds itself on my top tier list. Storyline, music, and acting was top-notch. The powerful insight it provides through its characters even match that of a great novel. Plus for those who are interested, the movie is actually based off of a graphic novel.
i have been waiting and waitng.
This is by far one of the best movies created. The story line of good and evil...the fasntastic soundtrack (which i have had since the movie came out) makes the movie even better..Tremendous performances by Tom Hanks, Daniel Craig, Paul Newman and Jude Law...make up a all star cast.... Highly recommend this for any digital library.

It's really an amazing movie. It's filled with emotion and has a great story. Absolutely beautiful!
