Plot Summary

A college football player dealing with injuries, Elliot (Mike Reilly) falls for a stripper, Anna (Julia Anderson). When he is unable to perform sexually, the relationship is derailed, oscillating between the tender and the cruel, as issues of infidelity and self-doubt consume his mind. When Elliot’s on-field performance begins to decline, his draft status is at stake. He faces tough choices and most urgently, he must face his own secrets and demons. Hailed by critics and audiences alike, Road to Victory is an unconventional love story, honest and penetrating, as it looks behind sensationalized media headlines over steroid abuse sports, examining the human elements that drive athletes to succeed, and the price they may pay for their choices.

A great edition to the DIY generation!

I really enjoyed watching Road To Victory. It was quite intriguing.

I feel this is one of the better, and unique, (truly) independent dramas to come out of the festival circuit in the past couple years. When taking into consideration that this was a first feature film, created at the DIY level, I thought the subject matter was bold and even noble, (being that sexual dysfunction is not a topic most people are comfortable conversing about in a serious manner).

The relationship dynamic between Anna and Elliot was quite intense, it was interesting to watch this young couple deal with such heavy circumstances, (for their age), and still have the fight to try and get through it all. That's tough love!! I thought the performances were spot on. Some scenes between the two were literally jaw-dropping in their honesty, Definitely a tug-of-war, I enjoyed the range in emotions. It's a viewing experience that lingers with you & makes you think afterward.

HORRIBLE...BAD ACTING...NOT WORTH A RENTAL

Badly acted film should never have been made. Filled with unsexy, sex scenes and stripping scenes where the stripper doesn't get naked... Which is fine if these scenes weren't like 90% of the film's running time.

The movie is not worth your time.
