Plot Summary
Shakespeares classic tragedy of young lovers from feuding families. Starring John Barrymore ("Grand Hotel"), Oscar-nominee Leslie Howard ("Gone with the Wind"), Oscar-winner Norma Shearer ("The Divorcee") and Oscar-nominee Basil Rathbone ("Sherlock Holmes" series). This lavish production received four Oscar-nominations, including Best Picture. Shearer and co-star Rathbone each earned nominations. Directed by Academy Award-winner George Cukor ("My Fair Lady").

its ok
its not that good. i mean Baz Lurhmann's version of the movie is better. the one with Leonardo de Caprio. or if you're like me, you would think that movies are not comparable to Shakespeare's real play.

Romeo and Juliet
Way better than the other in every way. Doesn't take place in current time like the other, but has nearly the same wording, which is bad for the other Romeo + Juliet. Way better. It helped me get through the play in school. I watched both movies. Trust me. I loaned the movie to a friend and he couldn't get past the first scene.
