Ronald Reagan: An American Journey
TRIBUTE TO A GREAT AMERICAN!!! Happy 100th Birthday to a Great American Hero and President! May God Bless America with another Ronald Reagan (and FAST!)
Less Speech, More Substance
Full disclosure: This is basically a compilation of Reagan's speeches and does little to place them in context. You will go from one speech to the next with brief dialogue interjected. I believe that it would have benefited more from a little more research in to the content of the man than the content of his speeches.
Excellent Portrayal
Not just a collection of soundbites, but an accurate representation of the impact that the President had in leading through extremely tenuous circumstances. Unlike other documentaries on cable tv that interject the personal agendas of disgruntled family members or booksellers, this film allows you to put Reagan into not only the context of his generation, but also makes you pause to juxtaposition his leadership against more recent Presidents, both Republican and Democrat. Highly recommend
