Plot Summary
Five years ago Dennis (Simon Pegg) was at the altar about to marry Libby (Thandie Newton), his pregnant fiancée. He got cold feet and ran for the hills and he’s been going in circles ever since. When Dennis discovers Libby’s hooked up with high-flying-go-getter Whit (Hank Azaria), he realizes it’s now or never. He enters a marathon to show he’s more than a quitter but then finds out just how much sweat, strain and tears it takes to run for 26 miles. Nobody gives him a chance but Dennis knows this is his only hope to more than a running joke.

Fresh: The kind of movie that's apt to be dismissed a goofy lark. It is that. But it's also a rare comedy that believes in its own message, and that could inspire the depressed and the demoralized to grit their teeth and keep running.
Fresh: Amiable, consistently amusing and surprisingly affecting, it has the flavor of a Nick Hornby novel, with its focus on an overgrown boy struggling to grow up and be a man.
Rotten: Run Fat Boy Run might as well have been written by a rushed piece of software. The program calls for a surprise engagement, a street fight complete with crotch punches, an apartment eviction, and a runaway child -- all in about five minutes.
Rotten: There's much too much of everything in Run, Fatboy, Run. Every ounce of comedy is so forced and full-on ridiculous that when characters express even a smidgen of sentiment, it feels like a parody.

Hilarious
This movie was great! I was a little disappointed with the predictable story line, but it was definitely worth a watch... especially if you are a fan of Simon Pegg.
so funny
this movies is sooooo funni...i saw it in theaters and it made me laugh the whole time...you have to buy rent or what ever just watch the movie
Not like the other Simon Pegg movies
If you liked Hot Fuzz or Shaun of the Dead then I wouldn't recommend buying this movie. Don't get me wrong it's a funny movie but it's a completely different style of humor from those movies.
