Plot Summary
Christmas Eve and the residents of a quiet British cul-de-sac are suddenly plunged into a world of violence, terror and paranoia when a group of heavily armed military personnel storm their road ordering them at gunpoint to retreat inside their homes. Unsure if this is the sign of a terrorist attack, or something much worse, one local mother finds it in herself to desperately fight to save her estranged daughter stranded across the street. However, with growing dread, the residents soon discover that the threat is more monstrous than any of them could possibly imagine, and survival is no longer a guarantee... A stunning debut from director Lawrence Gough, featuring an award-winning cast (Neve McIntosh – Best Horror Actress at Fantastic Fest 2009), Salvage is a nail-biting exercise in sheer adrenaline-fuelled fear that will chill you to your very core.

This film is Amazing!!
Nothing like a bit of a siege on Christmas Eve... Full of teeth grinding tension and genuine terror. Really well directed and a really great film.
Thriller!
If you're bored and have nothing to watch, this will give you a scare! If you enjoy gruesome and scary films, definitely something for you to add to your list of movies to watch. If find laughter from ridiculous thriller/horror films, watch this. My friends found it funny and actually laughed during the whole movie. For me, I was scared the whole time and amazed on how well they made this movie with such a limited budget! Cheap to rent, mind as well watch it.
Short but ...shockingly sweet
Good use of tense filled moments and keeping the villianous monster out of sight. Somewhat plausible reason given for the monster even if it is really lacking in originality. The only serious flaw was that the movie is just really too short; 1h15mins all said and done, it left me wanting more and thinking that they didn't fully explore enough scenarios. But that said, it was an enjoyable flick and worth the price of a non-blockbuster horror rental. Rent it, you will enjoy this English horror!
