Plot Summary
Jigsaw, as well as his apprentice Amanda, have died. After hearing of Detective Kerry's murder, two veteran FBI agents, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, assist Detective Hoffman in sorting out the remains of Jigsaw's last game. However, SWAT Team Commander Rigg has been put into a deadly game himself, and has only an hour and a half to prevail over a series of twisted, horrifying traps to save an old friend, as well as himself, from a grisly demise.

Rotten: Over the course of [its] sequels, the Saw franchise took a novel, if distasteful, idea and basically tortured it to death.
Rotten: The reports of torture porn's demise may have been greatly exaggerated, but this fourth entry in the mutilate-yourself-or-die series joins what may be the worst genre of the decade: the lamely ''sympathetic'' serial-killer backstory.
Rotten: Just as Jigsaw tests his victims, the franchise's own test will be whether such suspension can be maintained, or if matters lapse into a torture chamber of self-parody.
Rotten: The famously inventive torture sequences here seem depleted of imagination.

ppl r stupid
ok... 1) this is a pretty good movie. 2) i am extremely sick of ppl saying that they can only rent movies... hear this ppl: WHEN A MOVIE FIRST COMES OUT... USUALLY U CAN ONLY RENT IT!!! now every1 complaining about renting SHUT UP!!! 3) i am also extremely sick of ppl rating this movie and more 1 or 2 stars b/c they either a) cant buy it or b) cant get saw III... YOU ARE SUPPOSED 2 RATE A MOVIE ON HOW GOOD THE MOVIE IS... NOT ON WHETHER OR NOT YOU CAN GET ANOTHER MOVIE!!! so please, for the sake of people like me, shut up
what happened to saw 3?!
This movie was great don't get me wrong but I can find Saw 3 on itunes,hopefully they will add it so I can dig into that 3rd puzzle piece im missing to the 4 part puzzle.

I have loved all the Saw movies and this finishes up the series with a bang. But rent, gimme a break! I would buy it from iTunes, but not rent!
