Plot Summary
Chauffeur Willard Fillmore (Norm MacDonald) is over-abused and under-appreciated by his boss from hell, Miss Crock (Elaine Stritch). Desperate for a payback, he enlists the help of his hot-headed best friend, Rusty (Dave Chappelle), and they decide to dognap Miss Crock's precious pooch and hold it for ransom. But when the dog escapes, and Miss Crock thinks Willard's the one being held for a price, they must get help from the creepy and crazy mortician, Grover Cleaver (Danny DeVito), to cash in on the payoff. Now, the three have triple the trouble and triple the fun as they try to get even without getting Screwed!

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Danny DeVito is the only cast member who succeeds in making something out of the movie's nothing of a screenplay.
Rotten: A shrill, stupid, brickbat-blatant piece of hackwork that practically sweats to be 'commercial.'
Rotten: Screwed is latenight cable TV filler disguised as a feature film.
Rotten: If this is how they want to squander a hard-earned opportunity, they should keep their day jobs.

Back to the Origins Of Hilarity
Screwed succeeds at being a hilarious comedy for many reasons. The movie itself has a lack of conscious and doesn't care if you are offended or not. The comedy is at many times ironic and pure, relying on the vulgar stuff that made comedy great before everybody became so easily offended. The critics here are completely wrong, this is one of those rare movies where the critics have a completely opposite say than the population, and seriously, Norm Macdonald and Dave Chappelle are just hilarious. The scenes have a crazy scent similar to the Hangover but not as extreme, and while the pacing seems fast at first, it turns out to work really well and the unexpected ending leaves you satisfied. If you want to watch a movie that was based on the over-the-top, vulgar, and ironic roots of comedy, then rent this film at least. Definitely up there in my top ten comedies of all time.
Great
Love this movie. Specially the part where rusty beats the chief of police with a lamp!
