Plot Summary
Screen legends Rock Hudson, Doris Day and Tony Randall team up for this irresistible comedy gem from director Norman Jewison (Moonstruck). When he overhears a doctor discussing the imminent death of a patient, hypochondriac George (Hudson) believes the doc is referring to him. Convinced he's living on borrowed time, George enlists the aid of his best friend Arnold (Randall) to find a new husband for his soon-to-be-widowed wife Judy (Day). Already alarmed by her husband’s increasingly strange behavior, Judy is even more bewildered when an old flame shows up – and George bends over backwards to encourage his advances! The third and final on-screen teaming of Rock Hudson and Doris Day, Send Me No Flowers positively sparkles with "top performers… in top form." (The Hollywood Reporter)

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: It is a beautiful farce situation, and Julius Epstein has written it, from a play by Norman Barasch and Carroll Moore, with nimble inventiveness and style.
Rotten: At 40, [Day] should maybe stop trying to play Goldilocks.
Fresh: Probably the best of the Doris Day/Rock Hudson vehicles.
Fresh: There's enough humour in the ensuing misunderstandings and enough skill in the playing and direction to stifle not just criticism but even the odd yawn.

Send Me No Flowers
I love Doris Day and Rock Hudson. This is one of the best movies they ever made together. Doris Day is remarkable. Rock is funny without sacrificing any of his sex appeal. Tony Randall is hilarious in his undying support of his best friend. Since girlhood, I have watched this movie about 100 times and whenever I catch it on t.v., I always stop to watch it again. For those who have been starved for good, old-fashioned movies--old school style, I highly recommend this one and others just like it!
One of her BEST!
The first time I ever saw Doris Day, it was in this movie. I got hooked and fell in love with her incomparable acting talent! She became my role model right then!
I love Doris and Rock together. He's my favorite leading man with James Garner.
I love her forever and ever! <3
My favorite 3 acting together...
When my mom introduced me to Doris Day and Rock Hudson, I was addicted and I couldn't get enough of the two, and then when I heard Tony Randall was in this one, I knew that I had to see it, and then add it to my collection... I love the three in this movie, and it was great watching them together, and in the other movies that they did together.
