Plot Summary
Secrets and lies spiral out of control in this heart-pounding suspense thriller. Tom Wilkinson and Emily Watson star as James and Anna, a seemingly happy couple whose marriage begins to unravel when he learns she’s been having an affair with their seductive neighbor Bill (Rupert Everett). When a man turns up dead, James faces another shocking revelation about his wife and her lover, forcing all three into a cover-up that may cost them everything.

Great Movie
Truly incredible cinematography and like Gosford Park, doesn't move like a speeding bullet but gives you time to consider what you would do if faced with the same dilemma.
And, I bought it and love watching it again when I need to think through my own life.
EXCEPTIONAL FILM NOIR--BUY IT
This movie is a best kept secret. A beautiful young wife has a torrid affair--with a murder/cover-up and a twist!
Every performance is exceptional. I saw this movie a couple of years ago at a foreign film theatre--and have been searching for it ever since.

Very recommended - An adult love story done well!
What an enjoyable movie to watch! Great, mature love story that embraces real-life events in an English society. I actually liked how in-control the characters were - not so exaggerated or put to the extremes like in most movies. I would have only liked it better if they would have included some classy intimate scenes as I think it would have added more depth to the emotional aspect.
