Plot Summary
Sepideh wants to become an astronaut. She spends her nights exploring the secrets of the universe, while her family will do anything to keep her on the ground. The expectations to a young Iranian woman are very different from Sepideh’s ambitions, and her plans to go to university are in danger. But Sepideh holds on to her dream! She takes up the fight and teams up with the world's first female space tourist, Anousheh Ansari.

Moving and inspiring
What an amazing and moving story. I just saw the film at the Sundance Film Festival and was so happy to learn the movie plays on Itunes. This is an important movie that that world should see. Thank you for making this movie. Sepideh is girl power at its best.

I have a very similar situation to Sepideh, except that i’m a young man in Tehran. with the lack of equipment, very high costs, and all this light and air pollution in Tehran, it seems impossible for us to reach our dreams… Sepideh inspired me and i’m happy to see her on the way of success.
Wow!
This was an amazing and power story about this young girl who had a love and passion for astronomy and her desire to pursue her dreams in becoming an Astronomer. It was such an emotional moment when she got the surprise phone call from a female astronaut. She reminds me of me when I was her age. I had such a love for astronomy and was always watching the stars in the freezing cold. I wish her the best!
