Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Puts you in the boots of a Marine fighting in Iraq in 2003.
Fresh: A potent reminder of how thankless a soldier's job is.
Fresh: Most fictional films simply can't capture the immediacy of the experience the way a raw chronicle like this one, from director Kristian Fraga and 1st Lt. Mike Scotti, does.
Rotten: Much of this footage might have been illuminating, even fascinating, in 2003. But seven years on, it's ancient history lacking insight, hindsight or a fresh take.

Rah!
Let's you see first hand what it is really like. I am in shock that this is made by a 1st Lt. Im surprised they have a since of humor.
A soldier's story
Really liked this movie. Made no attempt at a grand political statement. Emphasis is on drawing the viewer into how it feels to be a soldier.
Real
By far the best recent war documentary I've ever seen. Not the disgruntled politically charged liberal crap that is usually thrown at us. Just good real info and footage and well organized.
