Plot Summary
"Why don't you come up sometime and see me?" Screen legends Mae West and Cary Grant heat up the screen in the racy comedy She Done Him Wrong! Nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award®, this classic from the pre-code Hollywood era follows a brash saloon singer (West) with a penchant for troubled men - especially the mission director (Grant) who wants to reform her. The unabashed queen of the double-entendre shines in her first starring role, in what has been called "Mae West's best film" (Leonard Maltin's Classic Movie Guide).

she done him wrong
Never before ( and never since) has there been a leading lady debut like Mae West. Fair, fat and almost forty, she gives a daring, truly sexual (watch the scenes with Cary Grant -- no pouting or mewing -- just pure sexual aggression) and honestly comedic performance.
The one. The only. Mae West. Why don't you come up and see her? She's home most every evening...
It's about time!!
I love this movie!! I have been requesting iTunes to make this movie available for purchase....I am so EXCITED AND HAPPY that it is FINALLY available!!
A great Mae West movie with a little bit of Cary Grant
I rented this movie wanting to see a Cary Grant film, but he is not in it for more than about ten minutes. As a Mae West fan, too, I was not disappointed, since this is one of her best starring roles as a woman whom no man can resist (or resist lavishing with diamonds). Although many of her double-entendres might seem tame today, it is clear why she was a pioneer of women in film who are overtly sexual, know what they want and remain firmly in the driver's seat.
