Plot Summary
Maggie Gyllenhaal gives a truly stunning performance as Sherry, a young woman with a history of drug abuse and emotional turmoil. Just out of prison, she finds herself struggling against all odds to reconnect with her estranged five-year-old daughter while trying to readjust to the outside world. Sherrybaby is an authentic and honest experience so intense and compelling it cannot be missed.

definitly a great movie
This may be one of those movies that you never heard of but its a great heartbreaking story. I came to see it by accident and it really touched me. Excelent acting. Great story that keeps you interested the whole movie.
A great performance by Maggie Gyllenhaal!
I loved this movie because of how well Maggie Gyllenhaal can show her emotions in this very sad film she gave me a reason to watch this film.
Tramp Movie
I kinda figured the critics would like this movie. This movie has no point. This drug addict, tramp, recently paroled woman with a little girl realizes she's a horrible person and asks her brother for help. Then the movie ends. That's it. Of course I left out the numerous POINTLESS sex scenes. But seriously, how can you miss them? They make up 40% of the movie length. The fact that the main character is a hoe bag is an understatement. I just don't understand why this movie had to be so graphic. The viewer could've gotten the hint that "Sherry" is a piece of garbage without being so in your face about it. But I guess that's one of the reasons critics love movies like this. How do actresses like Maggie Gyllenhaal do movies like this? She surely has to have a big ego to think the general public wants to watch her saggy limp boo beez and horrible posture on screen. I really wish I would've watched grass grow instead of this filth.
