Plot Summary

I was SO excited to see this film is going to be available on itunes!! This movie is GREAT! Highly recommend!! It's subtle and sweet, funny and at times also heart wrenching. It'll take you on an emotional journey you won't soon forget but in a way that will leave you wanting more...not wanting the film to end!! I don't want to give away any spoilers, but there is a breakout scene with Tyler Christopher that is amazing! I first saw this film at the Big Island Film Festival in Hawaii, where it won the "Audience Favorite Award" and because I liked the film so much, I followed it's subsequent journey and saw that it won "Best Film" or "Audience Favorite" in almost every film festival in which it was entered, including Best Film at the American Indian Film Festival, Best of the Fest at the Arizona International Film Festival, Golden Honu award at the Big Island Film Festival, the Audience Award at the Breckenridge Festival of Film and the Grand Prize at the Rhode Island International Film Festival to name a few. So I know it's not just me who loved it....everybody loved it! The Director did a great job, the screen play is flawless and this story will leave you wanting to connect with your own family on a deeper level. Chaske Spencer and Gil Birmingham of the noted "Twilight" film series give authentic, stellar performances that set them far apart from the Twilight series formula. Their characters and their acting allow you to see a bit of themselves, their vulnerability and also their courage and strength. Tonantzin Carmelo was also a breakout star for me in this film. She's not only classy and beautiful, but she finds a way to help us understand what real commitment can be and how we all, ultimately, strive for the same thing in a relationship. I remember how our audience at the film fest laughed and cried and I could hear many people as they were walking out of the venue saying "OMG, that was SO good!" Well I'm really looking foward to the upcoming release on itunes! I would definitely put this film on your 'Must Watch" list!! Order up folks....you won't be sorry!!
