Singam II

Plot Summary

After killing the notorious drug dealer Mayil Vaaganam, Durai Singam (Suriya) goes undercover. He works as an NCC officer in a school in Thoothukudi. The only people who know about this operation apart from himself are the chief minister and the home minister. Susai (Santhanam), a local man who works in the same school helps Durai Singam with his surveillance by informing him about the rogue elements dominating the area. Sathya (Hansika Motwani) is a student who falls for Durai Singam, but he is waiting to marry Kavya (Anushka Shetty), his love interest from the previous film. Sathya's advances are rebuffed by Durai Singam. He learns that Sathya is the niece of Thangaraj (Rahman). Bhai (Mukesh Rishi) and Thangaraj, are two criminals who control the area and are connected with the international gangster and drug lord Danny (Danny Sapani). They conceal their partnership to the outside world and pretend to be arch rivals when they are out in the public. How Durai Singam vanquishes the criminals, brings down their empire and finally unites with Kavya forms the crux of the story.
