I recently saw this movie in the theater (it was a TCM 1-night only showing), and since then, I've wanted to own it. I am faced with two options: spend $80 on a Blu-Ray version when I don't even have a Blu-Ray player, or spend $10 (for a movie this old, i feel it would be pointless to get the HD version) on the iTunes version and connect my iPod to the TV... Hmmm...

As a long-time fan of musicals, I can safely claim that "Singin' in the Rain" is the best musical of all time. And in its dedication to making the audience feel as happy as possible, it is one of the greatest films ever made.
