Plot Summary
In her last screen performance, famed sex symbol Jayne Mansfield stars in this story of a woman's change from an innocent teenager to an embittered, disillusioned prostitute and the life tragedies which brought about the unfortunate transformation.

Jayne Mansfield shows her true acting talent in Single Room Furnished.
I grew up during the 1950's and remember seeing Jayne on a lot of television shows, usually playing the dumb blond, even though she was quite intelligent. I remember hearing her play a difficult classical number on the violin when she appeared on the Jack Benny Show.
I rented this movie expecting to see Jayne in one of her cute comedic roles and was astonished to see that she could really act in a dramatic movie with the best of them. What a shame that she passed away soon after filming this movie. She was just getting started.
This is a very good movie. You will not be dissapointed.
Jayne, you were sweet and beautiful. Art imitates life, life imitates art. We miss you very much.
