Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Idealized? You bet. That's why the loss of this world must be avenged with the same broad strokes that you'd expect from the Count of Monte Cristo.
Fresh: It is all legally preposterous. But Levinson is a slick craftsman, his actors are insinuatingly real, and cinematographer Michael Ballhaus casts a disarmingly believable light on these proceedings.
Fresh: Engrosses if it doesn't fully convince.
Rotten: Levinson has done nothing to sift the half-truths from the melodrama...

Great movie
One of the best movies I have ever seen. Great plot, it's sad at parts but it's really good.
Amazing
I love this movie so much!! I was bored one day and I decided to watch it because of the incredible cast and it blew me away. I was captivated from start to finish and I was literally depressed after the end of the movie for two days. R.I.P Tom and John. Great performances from everyone. I love their strategy in the court room. Pure genius!! The last scene where they are all together again walking down the hallway is the perfect ending to an out of this world movie :) warning though, very sad and tough to watch at times but totally worth it!
